Last year I studied media at AS, and by doing so i ended up creating my own Music magazine. In order to do this i used a number of new programs and software in order to make my coursework and final product look as professional and media rich as possible. Examples of these new programs include; photoshop, prezi, animoto and Blogger. Below is what i found my strengths and weaknesses were.
Strengths:
- I feel as though my main strength was designing and creating my final music magazine product, as I feel as though I am quite a creative person and this is one of the areas in which I achieved the most marks.
- Writing the article for the Double Page Spread was one of my strengths as I enjoy creating a story and it was a fun and different experience to put it in the form of an exclusive interview.
Weaknesses:
- One of my weaknesses was writing the evaluation questions, as I was unmotivated to do them and I feel like they were very rushed due to the strict deadlines.
- I struggled to remember all the vocabulary and terms that i was given, therefore had a hard time applying enough of to my work. Because of this, i feel as though i dropped a few marks.

Overall i enjoyed AS Media which is why i have chose to do it again in A2, it was a very creative and fun subject to study and i am ready to learn more.
In order to keep on top of my time schedule, i have created an online check list which i can come back refer to in order to update my to-do list. I can constantly come back to this post in order to check off the tasks i have done as i continue through my coursework, and by doing this, i will have a visual understanding of what still needs to be done and what doesn't.
