Billing Block Planning:

In order to get my movie poster as realistic-looking as possible, i figured that i would need to look at the conventions of existing movie posters, so i would be able to re-create my own product without it looking too amateur. The one main feature i'd like to look at first is billing blocks, as i have never created one before and need to look at some existing ones.

Billing blocks:

 The first feature i decided to look at was billing blocks. Billing blocks are features at the bottom of every film poster, as the directors, producers, film makers etc all need to be credited. These blocks allow a stack of information to be stored in one place at the bottom of the page, without taking attention away from the rest of the poster. I think i will use photoshop to create my own billing block and i will follow one of the templates from above, then i will use different sized fonts to replace the names above with my own names; relevant to each of the titles.
