Survey Results (Film Poster):

This a prezi showing screenshots and graphs of each of my questions that were featured in my questionnaire. I thought it would be a good idea to use prezi to display them rather than just copy and pasting them straight into blogger, as it is a lot more interesting and a more media rich way of displaying my results.  Below is the prezi, and underneath i have analyzed my target audiences answers in order to see what the overall result and outcome of each question is

Question 1: Do you enjoy watching films?
First of all i needed to make sure all my target audience were fans of films, therefore my first question was straight up "Do you like watching films?". 100% of these people said yes, therefore it reassures me that i have chose the right target audience; teenagers who like to watch films.

Question 2: Do you enjoy looking at film posters?
Next, i needed to see whether or not my target audience were familiar/if they enjoyed looking at film posters. 90% of these people said yes, therefore i know that film posters are very relevant to my target audience and it is important that i create an appealing poster.

Question 3: Where do you most often see film posters?
For a chance to see where film posters are most likely displayed/noticed, i asked my audience where they most often see film posters. The most popular answer (60%) was in bus stops in public, closely followed by at the cinema. Something interesting to take from this shows that i need to make a poster which is portrait orientated, in order for it to fit inside the bus stops etc; it wouldn't be wise to defy the typical conventions for the sake of being different.

Question 4: Do film posters often influence you to see a film?
I wanted to know whether or not film posters are relevant to people who are thinking of seeing an upcoming film, therefore i have asked my audience whether or no they are influenced by these posters. 90% said they are sometimes influenced, therefore it is fairly important that i make it as attractive/enticing as possible.

Question 5: When you think of film posters, is there any well known existing ones which initially come to mind?
I thought it would be interesting to ask if there are any popular film posters that are recognized by my target audience. This will allow me to see what types of posters are rememberable, as it would be a good idea to try and make mine rememberable as well. While 50% of the people said they couldn't think of any, the other 50% listed 5 different posters; Jurassic Park, Guardians of the Galaxy, Titanic, Hunger Games and Jaws. Below are these 5 film posters in order for me to reference and look back on when i need inspiration for my own film posters (shown via animoto).
